BELAGAVI: Deputy chief minister G Parameshwara said the government will not allow Bengaluru to become a sleeper cell for Bangladeshi immigrants and Rohingyas and there are efforts to identify and deport them.Replying to a calling attention motion of N Ravikumar (Congress) in the legislative council on Tuesday, Parameshwara said the state government has been very cautious about illegal immigrants after the National Investigative Agency arrested some of them in the Bodh Gaya blast case in Bengaluru a few months ago.According to him, 177 Rohingyas have been found in Bengaluru and biometric details of 108 Rohingyas have been taken and sent to the Centre to start the deportation process.He said Bangladeshis and Rohingyas have been coming in illegally and taking shelter in various cities for many years now.
