CM releases audio clips of 'BSY luring JD(S) MLA'

Kumaraswamy had "concocted" the story to hide his failures and inability to keep the JD(S) and Congress flock together, Yeddyurappa told reporters. BENGALURU: Hours before presenting the state budget, chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday released a series of audio clips purportedly of BJP president B S Yeddyurappa trying to lure a JD(S) MLA by offering him money and positions in the government if he defected.The clip, allegedly of Yeddyurappa asking JD(S) MLA Naganagouda son Sharangouda to defect, was released by Kumaraswamy to establish that the BJP was indulged in horse-trading.One of the clips purportedly was the record of a conversation between Yeddyurappa and Nagangouda's son. In the clip, a male voice was heard offering crores of money and a ministerial berth to the leader to stay away from ongoing budget session.Additionally, the person assures the man that he would take care of the speaker and judges in case the party moves a petition seeking the MLAs disqualification.Kumaraswamy said the Congress and JD(S) MPs will raise the issue in the parliament on Friday and seek an explanation from PM Narendra Modi .
