Rain in parts of south Karnataka; spike in temperature likely in Bengaluru

The current maximum temperature is around 35 degrees Celsius,” an official from the Meteorological Centre said.There were reports of hailstorm in parts of Kodagu. The department predicted rain or thunder showers over some places in South Interior Karnataka for the next few days.“There is a likelihood of short spells of showers over Chitradurga, Kodagu, Tumakuru and Mysuru for the next two days. This is mainly to the local factors and the weather system as such is not favourable for widespread rainfall in the state.
