Dry day declared in parts of Bengaluru from Nov. 1 to 3; Check the list of areas

The RR Nagar constituency will go for the bypoll on November 3. The bypoll was necessitated in Rajarajeshwari Nagar after the seat fell vacant after the disqualification of Congress MLA N Munirathna under the anti-defection law last year.

Parts of Bengaluru city will witness dry day for three days, as Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar) constituency is going through bypoll elections.

The Bengaluru city police announced that liquor stores will be closed from 5 pm on November 1 to 12 am on November 3. According to the order signed by Bengaluru city police commissioner Bhaskar Rao, the liquor shops will also be closed from December 10 on account of counting of votes.

The order said the liquor shops should be closed on the above days in limits of Yeshwanthpur, RMC Yard, Rajagopala Nagara, Peenya, Nandini Layout, Mahalakshmi layout, Jalahalli, Gangammana Gudi, Rajarajeshwari Nagara, Kamakshipalya, Annapoorneshwari Nagara, Jnananabharathi, Byatarayanapura, Girinagara Police Stations limits.
