Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa has cancelled his dinner event with all the BJP MLAs which was scheduled at 7 pm on Sunday at hotel Shangri-La in Bangalore.

The Chief Minister`s Office confirmed that Yediyurappa had asked the dinner plan to be put on hold. According to sources, a new date will be rescheduled soon. It is being speculated that "there might be political developments and hence the CM has asked it to be rescheduled."

On Tuesday, an official invitation for the planned dinner meet was sent out from the Chief Whip`s Office to all the BJP legislators.

The sudden cancellation of the meeting has come at a time when there is a buzz about a change in leadership is doing the rounds in Karnataka for the past three-four months.

Several BJP MLAs have hit out at Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in the public and levelled corruption charges against him. The BJP top brass reportedly has started looking for a new CM face.
