Get set go! World 10K on May 15

The 9th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, launched here on Tuesday, set the ball rolling for all those running enthusiasts who race for fitness, fun and philanthropy.Last year the event attracted more than 23,000 runners and it's all set to get bigger this year with online registrations now on. BENGALURU: It's time to mark your calendar apps for the race day which will happen on May 15 at the Sree Kanteerava stadium. The last date for registrations for the various race events is on April 22, except for the Open 10k which will close on April 7. "I hope we can make the entire route for the event traffic free. Chief secretary Arvind Jadhav hoped more and more people would come out on the roads to support the thousands of runners who will compete on race day.
