15 entrepreneurs chosen for IIMB programme

As many as 50 women entrepreneurs were chosen to attend a three-week boot camp and their number was whittled down to 15. The programme is a training event to encourage women entrepreneurs which was launched in November 2016. Sonjoy Chatterjee, chairman and Co-CEO of Goldman Sachs (India), during the final day of the boot camp in Bengaluru on Sunday. The selected entrepreneurs will receive a fellowship of ?40,000 a month. Many ideas also focused on community, said Suresh Bhagavatula, Chairperson, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development, NSRCEL at IIMB, in the release.

The programme is a training event to encourage women entrepreneurs which was launched in November 2016. The programme received more than 1,700 applications, said a release from IIMB. As many as 50 women entrepreneurs were chosen to attend a three-week boot camp and their number was whittled down to 15.
