Students injured after windowpane falls

The school management rushed the injured students to a nearby private hospital. Two students, a 11-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl, were injured on Wednesday after a windowpane from a classroom on the fifth floor fell onto a grille near the corridor on the ground floor. On impact, the glass splintered and hit the two students, who along with other children, were waiting in the corridor for their parents after school. Rekha Vinod, principal of the school, said that the management informed the parents and also reported the accident to the jurisdictional Hennur police. The Hennur police said that they are probing to ascertain the cause of the accident.

The Hennur police said that they are probing to ascertain the cause of the accident.
