Tribune News ServiceBathinda, September 20Members of the MGNREGA Workers’ Union continued their protest on the 5th consecutive day here at the Zila Parishad office on Friday. The police deployed there stopped the protesters near Multipurpose Stadium after which representatives of union gave the memorandum to the minister. The protesters alleged that despite working under MGNREGA for the past many years, the government has not regularised their services. They alleged that the government had been stalling their demand for regular jobs for a long time. Labour laws have been repealed to benefit big entrepreneurs.”Burn CM's effigyMuktsar: Some MGNREGA employees demanding regularisation of their jobs on Friday took out a protest march in the town.
