NGO honours traffic cops

A city-based NGO, Yog Sewa Samiti, felicitated traffic police personnel Gurbakhs Singh and his colleague Mohhammad Singh for their work to fill up potholes on city roads. Chairman of the NGO NK Gosain and president Radhe Shyam Bansal presented mementos to the police personnel. Gosain said their initiative of filling-up potholes on roads to eliminate the chances of any mishap showed their selfless service to society. He said rather than depending upon government departments, police personnel and NGOs should take a lesson from their work and take such initiatives at their level whenever the situation demands. ASI Harbans Singh, ASI Manjeet Singh and Head Constable Jaspal Singh also appreciated the efforts of their colleagues.
