Dance, plays mark SS Jain annual day

District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Kulwant Singh was the chief guest and school chairman Surinder Pal Jain was the guest of honour. Parmod Jain, vice chairman of the school, pledged on behalf of the school to make the school campus polythene-free. Meenu Sharma, principal of the school, presented an annual report and highlighted achievements of the institution during the present academic year. Parmod Jain presented a vote of thanks.

Bathinda, November 11 Annual day was celebrated with zeal at Bhoj Raj SS Jain Public Senior Secondary School. District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Kulwant Singh was the chief guest and school chairman Surinder Pal Jain was the guest of honour. Parmod Jain, vice chairman of the school, pledged on behalf of the school to make the school campus polythene-free. He also announced the installation of a robotic lab (under a Central Government project) in the institute in the coming session. Meenu Sharma, principal of the school, presented an annual report and highlighted achievements of the institution during the present academic year. She also applauded the contribution of the management in the upgradation of school building and construction of rainwater harvesting plant, along with installation of a fire extinguisher. A dance item was presented by tiny tots along with plays, fusion dance and other cultural items. Students also paid a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi through a play on the Swachh Bharat. A play on Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh was also presented by students. Students who topped in their respective fields were awarded with trophies and prizes. Students performed bhangra to conclude the function. Parmod Jain presented a vote of thanks.
