A lot of people have families in both states and hence have first-hand knowledge about the workings of SP. Our party president is taking a long-term view of MP and trying to position SP for the future. It is not limited to just the assembly polls of 2018,” Mishra said, reminding that SP had seven MLAs in the MP assembly in 2008.“In 2013, we missed two seats by narrow margins,” he said, adding: “BJP seems to be in a bad position and the chief minister is postponing all local body elections.
