My aim is to wipe off this blot,” he said. “During the last month, our Patanjali group has provided jobs to 11,000 people in its sales department and will employ a similar number in the next five to six months. In six months, we’d have provided 20,000 new jobs to the youth. In MP, the group has so far provided 1,500 jobs.”Criticising the assault on social activist Swami Agnivesh, Ramdev said that everyone has the right to express themselves and disagree with another’s views.“To disagree with someone’s views is a democratic right. Swami Agnivesh, too, has this Constitutional and fundamental right. So do those opposing him. But attacking him, beating him up is disgraceful,” said Baba Ramdev. Asked if he agrees with the MP government’s decision to grant MoS to certain sadhus, he said, “Ramdev is a saint who neither wants to become a minister, chief minister or Prime Minister.”When reporters sought his reactions on the political scenario in poll-bound MP and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra, the yoga guru said: “I have come on an apolitical and purely Swadeshi visit.”
