Fed up with insomnia, MP man hangs himself

BHOPAL: Wracked by sleeplessness , a 59-year-old man committed suicide in Bagh Mugaliya on Thursday.ASI GP Joshi said Dilip Kumar Saha ran a workshop near 11 Meel trisection. His son, Shubhashish, 23, was at home along with one of his sisters.Shubhashish told police that his father was suffering from insomnia for months and used to remain depressed. Around 10.30am Shubhashish went to take bath and at the same time Dilip went to the terrace and hanged himself.When Shubhashish went on the terrace to spread his clothes, he spotted his father hanging from the shed by a loop of a nylon rope. A case was registered and further investigations are underway. His wife passed away four years back.

He raised an alarm and informed his sister and other neighbours. A case was registered and further investigations are underway.
