Madhya Pradesh: Dalit’s skull skin flayed over petty dispute in Shivpuri

BHOPAL: Seven days after a man belonging to the scheduled caste was thrashed and his skull skin was flayed by influential people over a petty dispute, in Shivpuri District , the police are yet to arrest the accused.Shivpuri unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) handed over a memorandum to the district superintendent of police, Shivpuri and demanded that the accused should be arrested. BSP leaders have also threatened to intensify protests if the accused are not arrested within 15 days.The incident took place at Tati Chowki village of the district on September 3. A case of attempt to murder and SC & ST (prevention of atrocity) Act was registered against one accused but no one has been arrested so far.District president of BSP, Dayashankar Gautam alleged, "First only one person has been made accused while it cannot be the work of single man.
