Common thread: Face of victim crushed in all four murders BHOPAL: The state is still grappling with shocking revelations of a serial killer , when police in Bina district have tracked down a priest who has already admitted to four cold-blooded murders — one of them his own brother. And he is only 27.The suspect, Rajesh Tiwari, made his first killing when he was only 18, say police. It apparently didn’t take much to drive him to murder : an unkept promise or a harsh word was enough. The four murders took place over nine years, said SP Satyandra Shukla.Addressing a press conference in Bina on Thursday, the SP said they rounded up Tiwari for the murder of a 40-year-old man, Pramod Kumar. “There were no clothes on his body and the face was crushed beyond recognition,” Shukla said. After police took Tiwari in custody, he started revealing his earlier killings, say police.Pramod had allegedly taken Rs 15,000 from Tiwari four years ago, promising forged BEd marksheet with 75% marks in return .But he did not fulfil his promise, so I killed him,” the accused reportedly told police.“Intense interrogation led to his confessing to three more murders. He told police all those who created trouble for him were murdered,” said the SP. Tiwari’s first murder was in 2009, when he killed Kamla Ahirwar, possibly due to an illicit relationship, say police.The next person to die at his hands was his brother, Hari Om Tiwari in October 2017, said an officer. Tiwari told police he killed Hari Om because he “continually created trouble for him”. Sultan Singh, a resident of Bina, became his third victim on August 23 this year. He was murdered simply because he had abused Tiwari, say police.In all the murders, one thing was common: the face of victim was crushed to hide identity
