BHOPAL: BJP leaders in the state are facing an unprecedented situation over dissension and are forced to do a tightrope walk, post declaration of list of candidates. While party workers accuse senior leaders of hijacking the ticket distribution process, some senior leaders are displeased over the way they have been side-lined."Contrary to the previous elections, the rebellion within BJP is increasing with each passing day, that has delayed the release of names for remaining 53 seats. Protesters have also reached the chief minister's official residence after party state head office where slogan shouting has turned out to be a normal exercise," said a senior state BJP functionary.Protests and unrest among leaders and workers were witnessed during 2003, 2008 and 2013 assembly polls but they were limited. The biggest blow to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan 's image came from within his family when his brother-in-law Sanjay Masani joined the Congress in New Delhi. Criticising the BJP on sensitive issues like unemployment, development and 'dynasty rule' he also took jibe on 'Kaamdar' and 'Naamdar' workers.Adding to the vows, party veteran and former chief minister Babulal Gaur and his daughter-in-law Krishna Gaur who is a strong claimant for ticket from Govindpura constituency expressed open dissent over the party holding back announcement of name of the official candidate."I am waiting for the party's diktats. I am very much optimistic that I will contest from Govindpura or Krishna will be given the party ticket.
