You might think I am talking about my education. No. Education is something I can achieve by working hard to create a bright future for myself. Today, I am talking about a small deed that can make a huge difference to my future: A promise to cast your vote. Your vote can ensure a bright future for me. Your vote can create a better future for Bhopal . Will you go out and vote to make a difference?"Ritesh Sharma, joint secretary of Bhopal Tourism Promotion Council (BTPC) said, "Parents do what their children ask for. That is why we decided to rope them in to join the awareness drive. The initiative is brainchild of divisional commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat. It is taking place in all government and private schools and students are delivering the letters to their parents." In order to confirm that the parents have received and read the letters, the schools have been advised to ask for letters of acknowledgement from parents with a promise to vote in the assemble polls.The letter to be signed by parents says, "We promise to cast our vote along with all the voting members of the family and encourage our friends and relatives to do the same."The district election office distributed the 'sankalp patras ' among 500 voters at 2,266 polling booths of the city. "The idea is to encourage people to participate in the 'Run for Democracy' with their families," said Sharma.
