Narendra Modi to address 11 rallies to boost BJP campaign

BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address about 11 rallies in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh to boost the BJP campaign in a state where his party is locked in a close fight with the Congress. He will address rallies in Umaria, Devtalab and also attend a roadshow in Maihar.The BJP chief will continue his poll tour on November 19, 23 and 24. The BJP chief will continue his poll campaign on November 18 where he is scheduled to reach Singrauli at around noon. He will reach Narsinghpur on November 19 and address rallies in Betul, Khategaon (Dewas) and two constituencies of Bhopal district - Bhopal North and Narela.On November 23, Shah will launch his poll campaign in Jabalpur and address rallies in Lakhnadaun, Chhindwara, Balaghat and Sehora (Jabalpur).On November 24, Shah will reach Gwalior to address the public in Ashoknagar. The BJP president will also visit Barwani, Shajapur, Badnagar (Ujjain) during his Indore visit.On November 16, Shah will reach Khajuraho to address public meetings in Tikamgarh, Sagar, Damoh and will be back in Khajurajo.

Party sources said that BJP’s biggest crowd-puller Modi is likely to address rallies in the Chambal and tribal-dominated Shahdol regions from November 16.The Prime Minister addressed his last meeting on September 25 during ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ (mega workers' convention) organised in the state capital, he had also paid a short visit to Indore on September 14 to meet Dawoodi Bohra community head Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin at Saifee Mosque on September 14.After imposition of model code of conduct for elections, Prime Minister Modi has not hit the campaign trail in MP. November 16 tour will be PM's first visit during elections in the state.“After Gwalior , Prime Minister Modi will address poll meetings in Chhindwara and Indore on November 18, Jhabua and Rewa on November 20, Mandsaur and Chhatarpur on November 23, besides Vidisha and Jabalpur on November 25”, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Prabhat Jha told TOI.The BJP has made elaborate arrangements for the Prime Minister's visit and is making all out efforts to retain power for the fourth time in the state.BJP chief Amit Shah will also visit Madhya Pradesh, where he is expected to make multiple visits over the next few days to bolster the poll campaign.According to official reports, Shah will begin his seven-day state tour from Indore on November 15 where he will address rallies and participate in roadshows. The BJP president will also visit Barwani, Shajapur, Badnagar (Ujjain) during his Indore visit.On November 16, Shah will reach Khajuraho to address public meetings in Tikamgarh, Sagar, Damoh and will be back in Khajurajo.
