Five loots in three days in Bhopal

SHO Ratibad Sunil Bhadouria said victim Pranjal Sahu, 18, a resident of Kenchi Chhola, is a student of first year. Acting on a complaint filed by victim, Ratibad police registered a loot case against unidentified accused and launched a manhunt to nab them. BHOPAL: Two unidentified scooter-borne youths robbed a DSLR camera from a college student at knifepoint in Kerwa Dam locality.The student had gone to the area with his two friends for a photoshoot. With this, the number of loot cases has gone up to five in three days. Subsequently, Pranjal and his friends reported the matter to Ratibad police.

Acting on a complaint filed by victim, Ratibad police registered a loot case against unidentified accused and launched a manhunt to nab them. SHO Ratibad Sunil Bhadouria said victim Pranjal Sahu, 18, a resident of Kenchi Chhola, is a student of first year. He told police he along with his two friends had gone to Kerwa Dam and Kaliasot Dam area for shooting photographs.Around 10.15 pm, when they were returning home on their bike, two scooter-borne accused allegedly waylaid them on Kerwa Dam Road between NLIU and Bull Mother Farm.One of the accused asked them to show the DSLR camera. Pranjal gave the camera to them and pretending to check the camera, the accused allegedly started their scooter and tried to leave.When Pranjal tried to stop accused and demanded his camera back, the accused riding pillion pointed the knife at him and the duo sped away. Subsequently, Pranjal and his friends reported the matter to Ratibad police. After probe, cops filed an FIR around 8 pm.
