BHOPAL: Expressing his willingness to be the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday called upon the BJP to work in tandem with the Congress for the betterment of the state.Interacting with the media after the Congress staked claim to form the government in the state, Scindia hoped that the Congress tenure will not be marked with adversarial relations with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)."The battle has been fought and it is over. I congratulate the BJP for winning 109 seats. But now we have to look ahead. The next five years must not be adversarial. We must work together with the spirit of working for the betterment of and uplifting Madhya Pradesh," said the Lok Sabha member from Guna.Scindia said it was essential to work in partnership with the BJP to ensure the progress of the state."You fight a fight during elections and after that we are all are public servants.
