Shiva Parvati’s mystical love showcased through Odissi dance

In the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum’s weekly series of Uttaradhikar this week Violin playing session and Odissi dance enthralled the audience. After this mystical performance Sujata Mahapatra’s troupe started their dance with Vishnu vandana. The next segment was Ardhaneshwar in which they showed the love between Shiva and Parvati. The event started with the performance of Kiran Kumar Bamnere with Raga Bhupali. Then performed Durga Stuti in which the power of goddess Durga was presented before the audience.

After this mystical performance Sujata Mahapatra’s troupe started their dance with Vishnu vandana. The next segment was Ardhaneshwar in which they showed the love between Shiva and Parvati. Then performed Durga Stuti in which the power of goddess Durga was presented before the audience. The performance ended with Mokshya which emphasized on the importance of purity and freedom.
