The aim was to make the students aware about the role of vote in a democratic country. A slogan and easy writing competition too was organised on the topic of importance of voting. On the occasion of national voter’s awareness day a district level debate competition was organised in the Hamidia college . This was followed by a poster competition on an ideal voting centre about which the students were very enthusiastic. As the general elections are on its way an array of events are happening in the city to make the people aware about the importance of voting.
