BHOPAL: MP cooperative minister Govind Singh on Friday triggered a controversy on Saturday by alleging that RSS gives arms training to its cadre and teaches them to make bombs. BJP countered by asking the minister to “talk sense”.While speaking on the murder of a Mandsdaur BJP leader, in which the accused turned out to be a regular at BJP rallies, Singh said: “BJP’s RSS imparts arms training and the method of making bombs to its cadre. So long as they were in power, such incidents would remain under the carpet. Now they are exposed.” Govind Singh also accused the BJP as well as the RSS of “protecting criminals”.BJP has already denied that the accused, Manish Bairagi, is any way involved with the party, saying “merely wearing a muffler with BJP symbol and clicking pictures with leaders doesn’t make one a BJP leader”.Asked to comment on BJP’s allegation that law and order is deteriorating in Madhya Pradesh since Congress took over a month ago, the minister pointed out that NCRB data has for years put MP on top in crimes against women. Denying that law and order was going downhill, he said: “The government will not come under any pressure from the BJP. We will expose the BJP leaders who are involved in crimes and will send them to jail after investigation.”Hitting back at Congress, BJP spokesman Rajneesh Agrawal said: “Govind Singh is a minister and has taken an oath. We expect him to talk sense and he should talk with facts. We have seen the fate of Digvijaya Singh , who made similar allegations. Govind Singh should do his work and keep law and order under control. ”Ashok Pandey, Sah Sanghchalak of Madhya Bharat Prant, termed it a baseless allegation. “The Sangh works within the framework of the Constitution to bring about positive change in society. It never indulges in any activity that is against the law,” he said.
