This Valentine’s Day, these couples are waiting for a break-up

We have called only those couples for counselling on Valentine ’s Day where we have realised that there are chances of a reunion. The purpose of counselling is to try and make sure that the families are not divided and the couples resolve their disputes. Occasions like this could be a positive trigger,” she said. It is only after all the options for resolving the dispute are exhausted that the court finally moves to a decision in divorce-related issues.“We try our level best and it also happens many times that couples who have come seeking divorce, return home happily,” counsellor at the family court, Noorunnisa Khan told TOI.She added, “There have been several instances in past during occasions like Valentine’s Day that the couples have forgot their differences and withdrew the cases and pledged to live together.”“Even tomorrow we have called few couples for counselling.
