Quick justice must to boost democracy, says Kamal Nath

"Madhya Pradesh government will hesitate in providing essential resources and facilities for strengthening the judicial system. We must always keep in mind that justice will not be complete until justice is easily accessible to the poor and weaker sections", he said and added that for ensuring justice to poor our judicial infrastructure needs to be empowered. Justice gives us independence and equality. He said that the lower courts will also be strengthened and the government will extend all cooperation to ensure justice to needy people.

JABALPUR: Chief minister Kamal Nath has said that delivery of justice on time will go a long way in strengthening democracy.While inaugurating the Madhya Pradesh Judges Association convention in Jabalpur on Saturday, the CM said that democracy can be strengthened only by ensuring that people get justice on time.The convention was presided over by Madhya Pradesh high court Chief Justice S K Seth, while law and legislative affairs minister PC Sharma was the special guest on the occasion.Kamal Nath said that India being the world's largest democracy, we cannot lag behind in ensuring justice for all. "Madhya Pradesh government will hesitate in providing essential resources and facilities for strengthening the judicial system. India's democracy is an 'ideal' for the world, as our judicial system is full of diversities. Judiciary is actually nurturing and preserving our democracy", he said.The chief minister said that democracy means independence, equality and justice. "Independence and equality have their limitations, but justice has no limit. Justice gives us independence and equality. We must always keep in mind that justice will not be complete until justice is easily accessible to the poor and weaker sections", he said and added that for ensuring justice to poor our judicial infrastructure needs to be empowered. He said that the lower courts will also be strengthened and the government will extend all cooperation to ensure justice to needy people.
