Baghsewania police nab 3, recover valuables worth Rs 2.5 lakh

The Baghsewania police nabbed three miscreants and recovered valuables worth Rs 2.5 lakh which was stolen by miscreants from half a dozen burglaries; main accused used to work as security guard in Misrod to evade arrest and was wanted in 5 permanent warrants. According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding a man trying to sell valuables in the area for the past few days a team investigated and based on the information nabbed him. He used to recce in evening and would target houses in the night. The tools used to break the locks were kept near the house in the evening and at the time of burglary they would reach house without tools to evade suspicion. For past eight years Mahesh is involved in criminal activities.

According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding a man trying to sell valuables in the area for the past few days a team investigated and based on the information nabbed him. The main accused was identified as Mahesh Tanwa (40) who is watch list criminal of Govindpura police and was working as a security guard of a house in Misrod area.In the initial investigation Mahesh confessed that he had committed around half a dozen burglaries in Baghsewania and Katara Hills area along with his aides Santosh Valmiki (35) and Hari Singh (36). Based on the investigation the two was searched and nabbed and valuables were recovered LED TV, cooking gas cylinder, gold and silver jewelry from their possession.During the investigation police found that the accused is habitual offender and to evade arrest he was living in Ganesh Nagar Misrod and used to work as security guard. He used to recce in evening and would target houses in the night. The tools used to break the locks were kept near the house in the evening and at the time of burglary they would reach house without tools to evade suspicion. For past eight years Mahesh is involved in criminal activities.
