Online applications invited for Sports Awards for year 2020

Online applications are invited for the Sports Awards of the year 2020. Applications for Ekalavya Award, Vikram Award, Vishwamitra Award, Life Time Achievement have been invited by Sports and Youth Welfare Department for the year 2020. In this connection, Director Sports and Youth Welfare V. K. Singh has sent a letter to all the divisional and district sports and youth welfare officers of the state and directed to take necessary action. Online applications can be submited at sports department website for Eklavya Award, Vikram Award, Vishwamitra Award, Life Time Achievement and Late Shri Prabhash Joshi Sports Award, 2020. It is worth mentioning that World Environment Day is celebrated all over the world on June 5.

Applications for Ekalavya Award, Vikram Award, Vishwamitra Award, Life Time Achievement have been invited by Sports and Youth Welfare Department for the year 2020. Keeping in view the COVID 19 transition, the last date for application is June 30, 2020. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. In this connection, Director Sports and Youth Welfare V. K. Singh has sent a letter to all the divisional and district sports and youth welfare officers of the state and directed to take necessary action. Online applications can be submited at sports department website for Eklavya Award, Vikram Award, Vishwamitra Award, Life Time Achievement and Late Shri Prabhash Joshi Sports Award, 2020. After the review of applications, a receipt for the online application will be generated, with the print out, the applicant will have to attach a photocopy of the sports achievements certificates mentioned in the application and submit it to the concerned Divisional / District Sports and Youth Welfare Office or Directorate by June 30. Instructions have been given to officers to widely disseminate information related to the application for Shikhar Khel Alankaran Awards for the year 2020. Meanwhile, a plantation drive was organised on Thursday at Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy and Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy. The plantation drive was held on the ocassion of World Enviornment Day. On World Environment Day, Director Sports and Youth Welfare VK Singh planted saplings at both the academies. It is worth mentioning that World Environment Day is celebrated all over the world on June 5. World Environment Day is celebrated to make the public aware of the environment, to explain the importance of health and green environment in human life and to remind everyone of their responsibility for all this.
