One robbed of Rs 50K by miscreants near Sarvottam hosp

A 50-year-old Manawar- based man was robbed of Rs 50,000 in cash by four bike-borne miscreants near Sarvottam hospital under Koh-e-Fiza police station on Friday. The victim had come to Bhopal for treatment of his ailing father. The victim, Laxminarayan Chandravanshi, was carrying Rs 50,000 cash and was targeted and robbed near the hospital. The victim got injured after he tried to grab the miscreants but failed. The victim, in his complaint, stated that he was near Sarvottam hospital at around 11 am when four miscreants on bike attacked and escaped with cash he was carrying.

The victim had come to Bhopal for treatment of his ailing father. The victim, Laxminarayan Chandravanshi, was carrying Rs 50,000 cash and was targeted and robbed near the hospital. According to the police, the victim was shocked after money was snatched from him which he had brought for treatment of his ailing father. The victim got injured after he tried to grab the miscreants but failed. Later, the victim reached Koh-e-Fiza police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case under section 392 of the IPC and started further investigation. The victim, in his complaint, stated that he was near Sarvottam hospital at around 11 am when four miscreants on bike attacked and escaped with cash he was carrying. Police said that the CCTV footages have been checked and investigation has been started. During the investigation police have spotted the four miscreants while checking the footages of CCTV cameras and the miscreants were found to from Irani Dera and when police have gone to check they faced hostility. However, when contacted with the senior police officials no one confirmed such incident occurred and policemen at the Irani Dera was deployed under routine checking conducted frequently to keep check on crime. The victim is a resident of Manawar Rajgarh and is a farmer.
