‘Aim self-reliance in health services’

In order to make the State self-reliant in health services, a campaign will be conducted to bring improvement in the condition of district hospitals, medical colleges and their affiliated hospitals. The Chief Minister Chouhan has said that there is a need to take special precautions in offices and establishments. The Chief Minister was reviewing the situation of Covid-19 and arrangements in the State through video conferencing. During the review of situation in Rewa and Jhabua, the Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to increase the testing and contact tracing. Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman has informed that constant improvement is being recorded in the recovery rate of the state.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that such an arrangement is must to ensure that citizens of the State should not go to other States for treatment. In order to make the State self-reliant in health services, a campaign will be conducted to bring improvement in the condition of district hospitals, medical colleges and their affiliated hospitals. By removing the shortage of human and technical resources, there is a need to make such kind of an arrangement which facilitate people to get complete treatment in the State itself. In this context, necessary improvement should be brought in departmental cadre and other shortcomings should be removed within the time limit. The Chief Minister Chouhan has said that there is a need to take special precautions in offices and establishments. Many people get affected by one infected person in an office. He instructed that action should be ensured against officers-employees if found guilty of negligence in precautions to be followed in offices for protection from corona. Chouhan also stressed the need for commencing awareness campaign at wide scale to tackle corona in the state. Besides, he sought information in connection to the awareness campaign started in rural markets. The Chief Minister was reviewing the situation of Covid-19 and arrangements in the State through video conferencing. Chouhan has said that every case of corona infection in the State is an alarm bell and challenge. Full care and alertness are needed to tackle this danger. He further mentioned that private hospitals should also be instructed that after observing symptoms of corona in patients, they should be immediately referred to covid care centres and dedicated centres. He also issued instructions to make necessary arrangement for increasing rapid antigen tests in the State. The Chief Minister has said that by ensuring the latest guidelines of ICMR, home isolation and quarantine should be encouraged in the State. The effective monitoring of such people should be ensured by monitoring app and other means. During the review of situation in Rewa and Jhabua, the Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to increase the testing and contact tracing. The Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Prabhuram Chowdhary has said that permission for leaving Jhabua should be granted under only inevitable circumstances. Minister Chowdhary also laid emphasis on the need of increasing awareness in Rewa. Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman has informed that constant improvement is being recorded in the recovery rate of the state. At present, the recovery rate is 72.9 percent. Currently, the state has 8 thousand 741 active cases and till now 26,064 people have recovered from the disease.
