Protem Speaker visits site where flats for MLAs being developed

Protem Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Rameshwar Sharma here on Thursday inspected the site of the houses being constructed for the MLAs at Rachna Nagar, Bhopal for the current and former members of the Assembly and held a meeting with the officials of the assembly, housing association, BMC and MPSEB departments. During the inspection, Sharma instructed the officers to complete the work of the houses under construction and hand over the possession to the eligible beneficiaries by August 31. He said that the 117 beneficiaries who have deposited the amount will be allotted houses through lottery on August 21. A committee of five MLAs has also been constituted for this and penalty will also be imposed on the concerned construction agency for not getting possession of the houses at the specified time.
