An accused of molestation in Gandhi Nagar area of ??Bhopal waved knives at policemen. Policemen caught courage after a brief effort. After that a procession was also taken out in the area. He had been avoiding the police for about one and a half months. He dragged a young woman inside the house and molested her.

An accused of molestation in Gandhi Nagar area of ??Bhopal waved knives at policemen. Policemen caught courage after a brief effort. After that a procession was also taken out in the area. He had been avoiding the police for about one and a half months. He dragged a young woman inside the house and molested her.

The case is being reported as about one and a half month old. Police officer-in-charge Nilesh Awasthi said that the 22-year-old girl had gone out of the house to get groceries. Meanwhile, 40-year-old accused Salim Khan was found on the way. He dragged the woman inside the house, pressing her face. Upon molesting the girl started making noise. This led Salim to escape from the spot. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered against Salim in other sections including molestation. It was detected in his area on Monday morning. When the police went to apprehend him, he waved the knife. However, the policemen laid siege and caught him. After this, the police also took out a procession of the accused in the area. The girl`s family also reached the police station after the accused was caught and congratulated the police.
