The district administration on Sunday registered an FIR against the Uttam Petro Point petrol pump for functioning during total lockdown. Indore Collector Manish Singh has given clear orders of total lockdown in Indore district on Sundays by promulgating section 144 of the CrPC. Under this, movement of people and vehicles is totally banned on the Sundays. Thus, the petrol pumps in entire district will also remain close. A complaint from Mhow locals reached to the Mhow police that Uttam Petro Point petrol pump of HPCL located at Sutarkehedi on Mhow Simrole road is functional and the salesman of this petrol pump is distributing petrol to the bikers and thus resulting in a large crowd of people and bikers. When the police reached at the spot the salesman of the petrol pump Ganesh Parmar in uniform was found distributing the petrol to the vehicle owners from a 20 litres cane. Police team of Kishanganj police station seized the petrol cane and booked the salesman under section 188 9f the IPC. Mhow ASP Amit Tolani told The Pioneer that during the corona pandemic it is the duty of the citizens to help the administration and police and not to disobey any government orders and not to break the law but to support the law and the coming days are festival days so all the people abide by the Government rules and corona Covid 19 pandemic guidelines.
