Indore IG orders to check illegal transport, liquor sale

Indore range IG Vivek Sharma and DIG Indore Harinarayanchari Mishra has ordered all the police officers to check the illegal transport and sale of liquor in entire Indore district. Indore west SP Mahesh Chandra Jain had formed different intelligence team to check this liquor smuggling. TI Depalpur Meena Karnawat received an information that a tractor attached water tanker coming from Sadalpur Dhar district and entering into Depalpur tehsil of Indore district is carrying liquor instead of water. The other two accused who escaped from site are Rahul Parmar and Harshwardhan Mishra of Sadalpur Dhar. The total property confiscated by police is worth value Rs879300 including the cost of tractor tanker and two bikes.

Immediately a police team deployed at main road village Khajraya near petrol pump noticed two people on two different bike escorting a without number plate ford tractor attached water tanker. When the police team stopped the bikers, they left the bike and fled away and when the police asked the tractor driver about the tanker, he told it is water in the tanker. Police on checking the tanker found around 80 boxes of country made liquor value worth Rs314300. Police arrested the driver of the tractor Ramchandra who is a registered criminal of police station Sadalpur of Dhar district involved in 11 crimes including rape, dacoity, extortion, illegal weapons and liquor smuggling. The other two accused who escaped from site are Rahul Parmar and Harshwardhan Mishra of Sadalpur Dhar. The total property confiscated by police is worth value Rs879300 including the cost of tractor tanker and two bikes.
