Plantation on Mhow-Ghattabillod highway divider causing accidents

The 27 kilometer long Mhow Ghattabillod four lane which begins from Mhow tehsil of Indore district and ends at Ghattabillod of Dhar tehsil has become dangerous for the people moving on this highway as the plantation on the divider of these highway has grown towards both the sides of the highway. The branches are hanging on both the sides of the highway thus covering around 7 feet road on both sides also the animals cows and buffaloes are also sometimes crossing these dividers and all of sudden they come on road and it is very difficult for the driver to pre locate them due to the hanging branches of trees, besides people say that some petrol pump owners and colonizers have themselves broken the divider of the highway and made approach road towards their colony and petrol pump which is also invisible behind these trees of the divider and sometimes suddenly two wheeler and four wheeler come on the road from the other side of four lane which invites accidents. Also, due the rain there are many big potholes at some places on this highway which needs an immediate repair or filling because the four wheelers and two wheelers get stuck in these pot holes. The Pioneer has informed the MPRDC officer Poonam Kushwaha few weeks ago about this road for which she told that she has conveyed the message to the authority but no improvement is seen on the road till yet. When The Pioneer contacted Dhar collector Alok Kumar Singh regarding problems of this Mhow Ghattabillod four-lane road he told that immediately all the problems will be cleared so that the safe and smooth traffic can be restored on the Mhow Ghattabillod four lane.
