The preparations of BJP and Congress are in full swing for the by-elections to be held in 28 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Although the election has not been announced yet, the Congress is trying its best to defeat the ruling BJP in these by-elections.

Particularly, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress and went to BJP, has more focus on the seats in Gwalior-Chambal area. In such a situation, the Congress has planned to field the fast-paced leader Sachin Pilot who has been in discussion with his rebellious attitude in Rajasthan in recent times. The Congress has a well thought-out strategy behind the Sachin Pilot campaigning in Madhya Pradesh.

Actually, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sachin Pilot have been friends of each other. When the pilot showed rebellious attitude in Rajasthan, Scindia also made a statement in his support. It is worth noting that most of the 28 seats in Madhya Pradesh where assembly by-elections are to be held, are from Gwalior-Chambal area, which is considered to be Scindia`s area of ??influence.

In March this year, when Jyotiraditya Scindia withdrew support to the Kamal Nath government and joined BJP, 22 pro-Scindia MLAs also resigned. After this, Shivraj Singh Chauhan`s government was formed in the state.

Most of the pro-Scindia MLAs come from these areas. This area of ??Madhya Pradesh is adjacent to Rajasthan. In such a situation, the Congress hopes that campaigning for Sachin Pilot can be beneficial for the Congress.

Sachin Pilot had said in a conversation with the media in the past that Kamal Nath, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and the President of the State Congress, has urged him to campaign in the by-election. Pilot said that he would definitely do this for the party. Let us tell you that out of 28 seats in Madhya Pradesh where by-elections are to be held, 16 seats are from Gwalior-Chambal region.
