Juban Singh Bhide new Dist mining officer in Indore

The State Government on Thursday ordered the posting of Juban Singh Bhide as a new district mining officer in Indore. Around 200 trucks of sand from nearby districts come daily to Indore in which many trucks are overloaded but they could not be checked. Presently also 3 mining inspectors and four home guards are looking after the checking of minerals of Indore district including sand trucks stone mines and other minerals. Due to the shortage of mining officers and home guards it takes a long time for the team to reach at the spot of illegal mining and excavation from the government land. Most of the illegal mining is still going on in the outskirts of Indore city.
