In Madhya Pradesh, the by-elections in 28 assembly seats, protests over the ticket distribution in the Congress have started coming to the fore. Three big leaders have left the party in four days. After Chambal`s elder leader and former minister Mahendra Buddhist, rebellion has also surfaced in Morena and Vindhya.

Satyendra Singh Tomar, a senior Congress leader from Morena district and a strong contender from the Congress from Dimani Assembly and Congress leader from Vindhya region and Srikant Chaturvedi, who contested the assembly elections from Maihar in 2018, have left the party.

He joined BJP at the Chief Minister`s residence in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia late on Friday night. By not giving ticket to Satyendra Singh, a strong contender for ticket from Dimani, the Congress nominated Ravindra Singh Tomar. Satyendra expressed his displeasure with the high command about this, but he was not listened to.

The Congress has announced its candidates for 15 seats in the first list. Out of the remaining 13 seats, the names of the candidates have been decided on all 12 seats except Biaora. The prospective candidates here have also submitted their claim. It is mainly Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh who have finalized them. However, the leaves have not been opened yet. Still, the situation is not clear due to some other names, this is going to be a complete hoax.

The names are yet to be announced in 13 seats including Mehgaon, Sumavali, Badamalhara, Mandhata, Morena, Pohri, Biawara, Gwalior East, Mungaoli, Suwasra, Badnawar and Javara. Kamal Nath is in Delhi with a list of 12 names. He has given the list to Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. After open rebellion in Bhander and Dimani, the party is now busy trying out rebellious leaders before announcing the remaining names.
