State Govt committed to overall development of STs, weaker sections: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government is committed for overall development of scheduled tribes and weaker sections and to connect them with the main stream of the society.
Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Shivshekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary Pallavi Jain Govil and other were present at the meeting.
In the programme, the students of Scheduled Tribe community, selected in JEE, NEET and CLAT will be honoured with ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Samman’.
Chief Minister Chouhan has said that along with the development of members of scheduled tribe community, it is important to connect them with the main stream of the society.
For this, ‘Samras Chhatravas’ should be established in the state, where along with the students of schedule tribe community, the students of other sections of society will also dwell.
