Under Gamak series, Ghooman Prasad Kushwaha, Damoh’s Bundeli music ‘Kanada’ and Gond tribal dance ‘Saila’ by Roop Singh Kusharam, Dindori were performed. The performances were held on Wednesday at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum. The presentation commenced with Bundeli ‘Kanada’ music by Ghuman Prasad Kushwaha. He began with Sada Dahi Raiyo Bhavani it was followed with Kabe Milo Raghunandan Mai Mohe and Mai to Uran Naiyan Bharat Moro. He then performed Devi Song Mai Pahle Sumar, Beanti Mori and performed many Bundeli folk songs. On the stage in the presentation, he was accompanied in singing by Murat Rajak and Ghanshyam Patail, on Sarangi Hiralal Rackwar and Roop Singh Kushwaha on Khanjari Tikaram Kushwaha, on Manjiray Mohanlal Patail on Dholak Bharatlal and on Shrimp Vijay Vansal. Kushwaha has been singing Bundeli for the past thirty-one years, you are a B high-grade artist of Akashvani, Chhatarpur, you have performed in Doordarshan and various prestigious forums of the country. The second performance was Gond tribal dance 'Saila' by Roop Singh Kusharam and associates, in which - Tai Na Na More Na Na Ga, Nachaiyya Gode Bajaiya Peyari Toor song performed Saila Dance On the stage in the presentation, Bihari Singh, Pahalwan Singh, Goha Singh, Shankar Singh, Dalveer Singh, Bajri Bai, Devanti, Kavita, Ragini danced, Shivcharan and Khuman Singh, Satish in Timki, Ravikant Marco in Shehnai playing and Mukesh Mercam in Gudum playing. This dance is performed by only men. The dancers have costumes of daily costumes in this dance. Peacock feathers in the headcover. There is a stick made in hands, a first, a wooden gun, a handkerchief in one hand and an iron pigeon in the feet. The dancers dance in a row and in a hemisphere. A singer picks up the song and everyone repeats it. When the Saila Dal goes from one village to another to dance, it is called Girda dance, which is actually an anagram dance. The Gond tribes reside in the districts of Betul, Hoshangabad, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Shahdol, Mandla, Sagar, Damoh, Satna, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Sehore, Raisen and Narsinghpur except in the northern part of Madhya Pradesh. The Gonds are the most influential tribe. Gonds like to live on the side of a hill or river in the womb of nature. Most of the villages of the Gondas are inhabited by forests off the road.
