T20 cricket tournament from Mar 8-17

Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated Rubina for the brilliant performance of promising Para player Rubina Francis of Shooting Academy, who won the gold medal for Madhya Pradesh in the National Para Shooting Championship. He said that the sportspersons daughters are enhancing the pride of Madhya Pradesh with their outstanding talent. Rubina Francis, who has been training in shooting sports since the year 2015 at Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy, represented the Indian team in eight international para shooting competitions. She earned a gold medal for the country by setting a junior world record in the 10-meter air pistol women's team event of the World Shooting Para Sports Championship held in Bangkok in 2017. In the year 2019, Rubina Francis gave the country a bronze medal in the World Shooting Para Sports World Cup held in Croatia. She has given nine gold and two silver medals to Madhya Pradesh in national para shooting competitions. Rubina Francis is learning the nuances of the shooting game from Shooting Academy chief instructor Jaspal Rana, instructors Oshin Tawani and Jayawardhan Singh.
