Painting competition held under Samvidhan Samvaad

A poster and painting competition was held on Tuesday. It was organised under three-day online event 'Samvidhan Samvaad - A Movement'. Marking the second day of the event on Tuesday, a Poster/Picture/Video competition for awareness was held. Since 2015 it has been observed as an official public holiday throughout India. While the day is observed not just in India but also around the world, it is considered to be an official public holiday in the country.

Marking the second day of the event on Tuesday, a Poster/Picture/Video competition for awareness was held. Using multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter, the participants uploaded a picture/video/poster on "What does the constitution give us?". The participants expressed themselves through these medium and use the same hashtags- #constitution70 #ambedkarjayanti The competition was like an extravagance for the little painters and the spectators as well, as they have used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet. Further the artists also displayed the uniqueness and beauty of a peaceful world through the variations of colours was commendable. Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is an annual festival observed on April 14 to commemorate the memory of B. R. Ambedkar, Indian polymath and civil rights activist. It marks Babasaheb Ambedkar's birthday who was born on 14 April 1891. Since 2015 it has been observed as an official public holiday throughout India. The day coincides with Ambedkar’s birthday, who was born in the year 1891, and dedicated his life fighting caste oppression and discrimination, making the Indian society more conscious about the evils of the caste system, and working towards making it more inclusive, tenets of which are explained in detail in the Constitution. While the day is observed not just in India but also around the world, it is considered to be an official public holiday in the country.
