Heavy rainfall, thunder activities witnessed in State

After extreme hot climate witnessed across the state, heavy downpour and thundery activities dip day temperatures significantly in the past two days. Dense cloudy conditions were witnessed in the day on Monday in Bhopal and rainfall was witnessed in the afternoon bringing down the soaring mercury and later bright sunlight was witnessed. Few regions reported good rainfall in the state, Paali and Bareli recorded 2 cm, Bheempur, Atner, Ashta, Dabra, Naalcha 1 cm of rainfall recorded in the past 24 hours. The weather conditions is less likely to witness same pattern for the next two days and after two days thundery activities and rainfall activities would increase across the state. Several regions witnessed rainfall in the past 24 hours, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Sagar, Chambal, Indore and Bhopal divisions.

Bhopal witnessed 35 degree Celsius while night temperature was recorded at 21 degree Celsius. On Tuesday, Bhopal would witness partial cloudy conditions and thundery activities with gusty winds. Few regions reported good rainfall in the state, Paali and Bareli recorded 2 cm, Bheempur, Atner, Ashta, Dabra, Naalcha 1 cm of rainfall recorded in the past 24 hours. The weather conditions is less likely to witness same pattern for the next two days and after two days thundery activities and rainfall activities would increase across the state. Several regions witnessed rainfall in the past 24 hours, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Sagar, Chambal, Indore and Bhopal divisions. The highest day temperature was recorded at 41 degree Celsius in Sidhi. According to the forecast Jabalpur, Shahdol, Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal divisions and Barwani, Dhar and Shajapur districts would witness thundery activities and rainfall. Met department has issued warning of thundery activities, lightening and speedy winds in Jabalpur, Shahdol, Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal divisions and Barwani, Dhar and Shajapur districts in the next 24 hours.
