‘Micro-containment zones to be established in Covid hit villages’

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Corona infection should be strictly prevented by creating micro-containment zones in villages where there is corona infection. Committees should be formed in all villages and every patient should be identified and treated immediately after conducting house-to-house survey. Chouhan said that continuous action should be taken against those who sell fake medicines, black marketers. Strictest action should also be taken against the hospitals that charge excess fees and the extra amount charged should be returned. Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of corona in the state through video conferencing from his residence on Friday.

Committees should be formed in all villages and every patient should be identified and treated immediately after conducting house-to-house survey. The Chief Minister said that implementation of Mukhya Mantri Covid Upchar Yojana has been started in the state and its benefits would be given to the already admitted patients. The implementation of this scheme will be reviewed daily. Chouhan said that continuous action should be taken against those who sell fake medicines, black marketers. Strict action should be taken against them under the Essential Commodities Actand National Security Act. They are enemies of humanity. Strictest action should also be taken against the hospitals that charge excess fees and the extra amount charged should be returned. Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of corona in the state through video conferencing from his residence on Friday. In-charge ministers from all districts, officers in-charge of corona, collectors, superintendents of police, etc. were present in the video conferencing. Action has been taken under National Security Act against 20 persons for black marketing of Remdesivir injection and against one person for black marketing of oxygen. Similarly, action has been taken against 61 health institutions / individuals for charging more fees. An amount of 7 lakh 34 thousand rupees has been returned from them to the families of the patients. Out of these, licenses of two institutions have been revoked and FIRs have been registered against 22 persons. Chouhan said that a committee of experts should be formed to prepare for the third wave of Corona in the state, which will study what is its potential in the state and what preparations and arrangements should be made for it. Chouhan said that health infrastructure should be strengthened more and more in the state. Efforts should also be made to produce Remdesivir in Madhya Pradesh. Make efforts for the installation of oxygen plants in every hospital. The government is giving a grant to motivate private entrepreneurs to set up oxygen plants.
