Bhopal Third hostel under Super 100 scheme stuck for five years proposal for opening of a new hostel in Gwalior or Jabalpur sent by Directorate of Public Instructions in 2016 17

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Third hostel for students topping in class 10 and selected for government's ambitious 'Super 100' scheme is stuck in a limbo for over the past five years. Over 300 students will benefit from the government's scheme 'Super 100' this year after results of class 10 are declared. The Directorate of Public Instructions (DPI)- wing of the school education department - had sent the proposal for opening of a new hostel in Gwalior or Jabalpur in 2016-17. The then school education minister Vijay Shah had made an amendment in the proposal and suggested the hostel to be opened in his constituency Khandwa. Now the school education department has prepared and sent the proposal once again recommending a hostel under Super 100 scheme in Gwalior and Jabalpur.
