Jabalpur Inspired with infamous stockbroker Harshad Mehta s story youth tries to cheat doctor landed at police station in Madhya Pradesh

The web-series is based on the story of an infamous stockbroker who orchestrated a nearly Rs 5000 crore securities scandal in 1992. The notice was issued by Nayab Tehsildar seeking reply on a complaint regarding unqualified doctors working at the hospital. As per notice Dr Latif had to appear before the court with his reply on March 26. The caller asked Dr Latif to pay Rs 2 lakh to settle the issue. On the same day Dr Latif went to Tehsil office to inquire about the notice where he learnt that no such notice was issued.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year-old man watched web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta story at least 10 times before planning to cheat a hospital owner in Jabalpur. The web-series is based on the story of an infamous stockbroker who orchestrated a nearly Rs 5000 crore securities scandal in 1992. He first issued a notice to a hospital owner seeking reply on a complaint lodged against the latter and when the doctor promised him to pay Rs 1.5 lakh to settle the issue he issued an order acquitting the hospital owner. He did this to earn money for the treatment of his father and also to meet expenses of his house. However he was trapped in his own net and has been arrested. The youth identified as Mohammed Hamza 23 a resident of Housing Board Colony Adhartal in Jabalpur. The complainant Dr Abdul Latif runs a hospital at Narmada Nagar in Raddi Chowky locality in Jabalpur. On March 9 he received a notice. The notice was issued by Nayab Tehsildar seeking reply on a complaint regarding unqualified doctors working at the hospital. The notice had a stamp and sign of Nayab Tehsildar. As per notice Dr Latif had to appear before the court with his reply on March 26. Earlier on March 10 he received a phone call and the caller introduced himself as Mohit. The caller asked Dr Latif to pay Rs 2 lakh to settle the issue. The deal was finalised for Rs 1.50 lakh. On the same day Dr Latif went to Tehsil office to inquire about the notice where he learnt that no such notice was issued.
