Mpl Commissioner inspects works of under-construction houses BMC Commissioner KVS Chaudhary giving instructions to officers during inspection of houses being built under Housing for All scheme on Tuesday. Staff Reporter : Bhopal Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary inspected the construction work of proposed houses being built under Housing for All in Bhanpur and Malikhedi on Tuesday. He instructed to complete pending civil works including electricity connection water supply construction of approach path etc in MIG LIG houses in Malikhedi. He instructed to impose penalty on concerned construction agency if it fails to complete work on time. He directed to speed up works related to finishing and electricity at houses constructed in Bhanpur. Moreover he directed to construct 4 sample houses at the locality. He also inspected the EWS accommodations as well. Apart from this he also took a glimpse of the pictures and maps of the Bhanpur-constructed LIG houses. He was informed that 428 LIG houses are being constructed in Bhanpur 288 EWS accommodations are being constructed under the non-slum category and 240 EWS accommodations are being constructed under the slum category. In Malikhedi 50 MIG and 380 LIG houses are underway construction. All MIG houses built in Malkhedi have been booked whereas 6 LIG houses 193 non-slum EWS houses and 118 slum EWS houses have been booked in Bhanpur. The LIG and EWS houses will be equipped with a basement for facilitating vehicle parking.
