MP Cgarh PF Deptt comes to aid of deceased employees family PF officers handing over PPO and other benefits at the doorsteps of beneficiaries. Staff Reporter : Collaborative efforts of the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Employees Provident Fund Department ensured gratuity amount and pension payment order to bereaved family member of a deceased employees relative at her doorstep. Dependent of the deceased employee were benefited under the head of Aapka Office Aapke Dwar campaign of Provident Fund Department. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown the EPFO started unique scheme with collaborative efforts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh offices for providing prompt assistance to dependents of deceased employees during the pandemic situation. During the campaign Regional PF Commissioner Ajay Mehra pointed out the post of a woman Seema Kushwaha of Panagar on social media. The woman had mentioned about the death of her brother Rajesh Kushwaha due to COVID-19 who was a contractual employee with private contractor. She only had PF account number of the deceased. Taking cognisance on the message Regional PF Commissioner Ajay Mehra immediately directed to PF Office Bhopal Accounts Officer Shivendra Khamparia for finding the relatives of deceased employee. Continuing a search PF Office succeeded in finding the relatives and learnt that the deceased was working with a private contractor in Bilaspur. Team contacted at PF Office Raipur and consoled the bereaved family members of deceased. Taking prompt action into the case PF officers completed the formalities with the help of relatives and handed over the PF payment of Rs. 45408 insurance amount of Rs. 559688 monthly pension order of Rs. 2901 and separate pension for two children Rs 725.
