Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Rescued From Flood

Madhya Pradesh Home minister Narottam Mishra was rescued from flood-affected regions. 

While the state home minister was reaching out to the flood victims in Madhya Pradesh`s Datia district during which the situation worsened and Minister Narottam Mishra and the villagers had to be airlifted with the help of the Air Force. 

PM Modi assured of help tet us inform that Shivpuri, Gwalior and Datia districts of Madhya Pradesh are facing severe floods these days. On August 3, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard. The Prime Minister assured all possible help for the relief and rescue work.

Apart from this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on August 4 and assured all necessary help in the flood-affected areas.

Deployment of Indian Army in flood-affected areas the Indian Army was deployed in the flood-affected districts on 3 August itself. At the same time, SDRF teams carried out rescue operations in the flood-affected areas of Shivpuri, Datia and Sheopur.
