Schools reopened in Madhya Pradesh from today.

Amid the preparations of reopening of schools, schools for classes 9 and 10 have opened from today, 5 August. It is after 15 months that the students went to school in the state.

However, due to the fear of corona infection, the attendance of children in schools was very less on the first day. Only 02 to 03 percent of children reached school. At present, the classes of 09th-10th will be held only 2 days a week.

Today on the first day the students of class 10th reached the school to study. In the Government Kamala Nehru Girls Higher Secondary School located in the capital Bhopal, out of 300 students, only 41 students reached the class. At the same time, in the capital`s Subhash Excellence School, only 12 out of 220 students reached offline classes.

Pushpa Rao, principal of Government Kamala Nehru Girls Higher Secondary School, says that the fear of increasing infection of the corona is clearly visible among the parents.
